im gona have access to 91 gtu in a couple of days. i was wondering what on a 91 would be better parts to replace on my 87? im gona ****** the tail lights, but i dont know what else i should grab. im looking for simple stuff, i know the engine is better but i cant have that. did the 91 have the alloy hood?

Shoot, there's a LOT of stuff.

Radio console/AC vents
Shifter surround
Nose and side moldings
Spoiler (if you don't have one)
*maybe* door panels (depends on color, model, etc.)

That's off the top of my head.

It's totally pot luck if you find an aluminum hood - but, in general, the bulk of the '89-91 NA's I've seen have had steel hoods, save the GTUs's.

Just look at everything - if it looks better/neater, grab it. Most of the '89-91 stuff will bolt right on to the earlier cars.

my drive train is in awesome shape. i may swap the wheels, i kinda like the 5 spoke design better than the gxl rims. my interior is pretty good cept for the driver seat is trashed. i think the interior is black on the 91. i not sure how the seats will look in my blue interior. hope its a GTUs, that damm steel hood is heaver than the doors on my 85..........

Take the black interior. If you dont use it, you can sell it online for some good money.
