Just want to check a simple thing but could not find anywhere.

What RPMs shoul I expect when idle? I'm getting around 700-750. A bit too low?

They tend to drop to 600-650 when my brake lights are on. Could that be a bad battery, or battery doesn't charge enough?

Sounds about right, from what I have heard.
Clean your BAC and see if it helps with the RPM Drop.

I have my car idling at 1,000

 

750 is normal. Pressing the brake does cause it to drop a bit.
