what are my options for replacing the turbo on my TII engine. Any cheap upgrades

I am looking for a cheap upgrade to the stock turbo on a 91 jspec engine.

this is on my 82, I have no yet built a exhaust so that end doesnt matter yet, nor does the compressor inlet or outlet becuase I have not yet made the intercooler pipes.

so what bigger turbos will bolt up to the stock flange?

I am looking to make 300-350 hp eventually. I heard the stock one peaks at 285 but 250 is more reasonable.

EXACTLY, thank you.

are these upgrages reliable?

how do they hold up vs a name brand upgrade (ie hks or greddy)

I read this puts a huge heat load on the exhaust side, is this true.

They dunt really explain much about the turbo upgrades. For example, what kinda boost are they capable of, and if they are able to support 300rwhp, at what RPM and what boost will it reach it at. Also spool up time, etc, etc.

Just email Bryan and hes very helpful. Whenever I get around to it I'll be buying an upgraded turbo from him myself.

Those TO4 hybrids are basically based off of HKS units. The stage 2 is a good turbo for daily driving and everything else, I've heard it has a exellent response and great mid range boost, barely any extra spool time.
