I ended up having to go with a 550/890cc combo because of bad hot start issues with larger primary injectors. I did a fuel calculation and the 550/890cc combo supports the same hp as the 720x4 combo. ONly thing I'm going to have to look out for is right before the secondaries kick in it may get a little maxed out but thats the good thing about the rtek as well because the secondary cut on is 3500rpm instead of 3800rpm. When I find out whats causing my crazy hessitation i'll let yall know how this goes.

Do you think 4x 750cc would work? I can't find any 720cc uber cheap on ebay like I can the 750cc...I already have the dreaded 3800 rpmd hesitation, so I think running stock primarys with 890cc secondayrs would worsen the problem...which is already pretty bad.

I would just be worried about hot start issues with the 720 or 750 primaries. As far as the fitment I'm not sure.

I've never had a hot start problem with the 4 x 720's.

I guarentee you will be able to max out stock 550's with that much airflow if you floor it while cruising on the highway in 5th gear.

new idea, run the stage 3 with standalone and stock injectors? Just keep the psi @ 7 and dont redline the car or push it that hard? the Rtek 2.0 chip is rumored to "try and keep it lower than $500" and isn't out. I figure if i can run the turbo with that standalone I could have that all in by mid june then run the stock injectors for awhile then upgrade them in july along with fmic. using stockers with standalone for 1 month..will i blow up my engine or starve it?

are you close to maxing out those 4x720's with your stage II? reted had the same hotstart issues I did with the 720cc primaries. Your engine just sucks lol, j/k. Anyways I'll see how it goes, I've got a wideband that will let me know what is going on.

so after searching a ton of injector threads for about an hour, I feel I'll be safe with 550 primaries and 890 secondaries with a stage 2 bnr turbo, microtech ltx8 and a fmic right? I hope to start my engine swap into my 85 rx7 in a couple days.

FYI, I have 2x720s and 2x890s, and at 17 PSI my injector duty cycles are in the neighborhood of 70%

Rat are those numbers while squirting alcohol?

I assume the alcohol helps reduce the need for upping fuel.
