Question What model FC do I have??

I take it this question gets asked a lot,

Ok, mines japanese right hand drive, 1988 (has the small rear number plate hole)
rear seats, light grey interior, original mags are gone, power windows, hand mirrors (not power) manual, turbo series 4.

also vin is way different to what I found on another site, mine start 7A8C103079...... and chass no is fc35 which I thought was the vert and fc33 was the coupe.
paint is rh- sunrise red

any help would be great, thanks.

I think he means the trim/interior. watch out about posting your vin too, someone in NZ could go to a shady mazda dealer and get a set of your keys and steal it from your house. It's happen'd many times overhere, y not over there

^^nope dudes right, its JM1FC35 just looked at my vin.... sorry but convertibles are FC3C's.....

Yeah, umm, it's worth buying a 1yr. carfax report instead of posting your VIN. Anyway my 88' convertible say JM1FC35xxxxxxx

It's probably not an efini, but it is a GT-R, 86-88 GT-R, 89-92 GT-X..

The JM1FC is a north american number, not a Japanese number.

and verts are FC35 vins but FC3C models

Sorry my model number is E-FC3S it is a S not a 5 does anyone know where to find info on japanese only models?

also my vin is missing the last 5 digits, and all rx7's over here are turbos never heard of a non turbo here. So mine is a GT-R? thanks guys for the info.

lol, after all this time, I still don't know what mine really was when I got it. It says GX on the side of the car, but the options and accessories etc do not match up to anything really at all in the stickie post about the different models..

Actually the GX is mentioned in the FAQ for FC...

A GX is the same thing as the US spec 86-87 Luxury, 88 SE, and 89-90 GTU.
