what makes rx7 flood???

what makes rx7 flood???

beside starting it and shuting it off in 5 second? what else?

It’s caused by the wear conditions of key components. As compression erodes in an older engine, it floods a bit easier. If your injectors are in need of repair, it floods easier, AND when both are evident as with most engines over 100K, it floods real easy.

For some reason my car doesn't easily flood.

But yes low compression and leaky injectors cause flooding OTHER than the fast shut off cause.

Perhaps pre-mix is helping out that.

There is a transistor that occasionally fails (usually related to a mechanic improperly tuning up the car and TPS with a test light), but it is more the exception than the norm.

As covered before if the ECU was the problem, the cars would have flooded when brand new from the dealer. They didn't.
