What is the main difference in Rotary housing front and Rear?????

What is the main difference in Rotary housing front and Rear?????

I can see the difference in the outside casting where the 13B is molded. but othere than that......is it something obscure like a water port???

Ummm nope.
They are interchangable from what I am told. Well I have 4 here and they are all the same.

Turbo and NA ones are different. Turbo have water passageways for the LIM to supply the turbo, and the NA have none. The NA have exhaust diffusers.

No, that port is not here. I have three N/As (one bad of course) The two also have different part numbers. Don't ask what parts list I was looking at but I saw it. I think it was Mazdacomp.com.

The difference lies in the passages for air coming from the acv to the EXAUST PORTS, where most airpump air goes. If you swap the housings on a series four non turbo, the air will not go to the exaust ports resulting in a much poorer chance of passing emissions.

Outside of that, swap away. Just talking series four non turbo. I have not looked at any other housings, although I do have a neighbors series four turboII ripped apart in the garage right now. A victim of water corrosion in the front housing.
