what to look for when buying FC turbo....
Ok, so I'm going to go look at a '88 rx7 turbo tonight. I was just wondering if there are any problems I should look for. I've never had a turbo car let alone a rotary, so I'm kind of clueless except for basic things like engine leaks, metallic sounds from the motor or grinds from the tranny.
here's some mods it has (if it matters):
tokico blues (non adjustable)
Racing Beat springs
eibach front and rear swaybars
ebay FMIC with custom piping
HKS BOV
Vortech FMU
3" turbo back exhaust
185K on chasis, less than 50K on swapped JDM motor(has paperwork showig motor had 47K on it roughly and it was done only 2 months ago.
no AC or PS
the body and interior are in excellent shape being white with blue interior.
any input would be much appreciated.
