what are the little black trapazoids on the window seals for?

on the upper seal the black plastic thing, there are no wires to it so its obviously not a sensor of anysort (which i would doubt to begin with) but its attached to the door bot the seal so its not for removal purposes.
any thoughts?

My driver side one fell off years ago, the windows still works as it always did, it really doesn't do anything, but as strange as it may sound, it kind of looks cool

The only thing i can think of is the device to keep the window from being pryed (sp?) open. The triangle thing that blocks the window from being pulled out with the window up

Those are window adjusters. I've answered this same question twice in the last three years. See the parts fische. That's what they are.

Here's a old thread: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...indow+adjuster

REMEMBER, you asked what they were, NOT how to use them.

They are there to guide the window back into the groove when going back up.
