Where have you guys gotten pd's from and what did it cost? The one I seem to be able to find is the Mazdatrix one for $130....anyone know of one for less?

Okay, just to get it right.. Is the PD supposed to eleviate the shock from the injectors or the shock from the pump, or both? Does placement matter? I was thinking of getting some aftermarket PD and placing next to the fuel pump or somewhere farther away from the engine and possible fire hazards. Maybe even something like one of these:

This is a great aftermarket version.

Mazda sells the stock S4 PD's for $100.

well, I would hafta take a look at the system details...seems to me that the pd is placed right between the pump and the injectors, right?? Fuel flows thru it before it gets to the injectors as I recall, so it could be either or both. But the thing is I don't really want to just throw a banjo bolt on there....the pd is there for a reason. As for the aftermarket designs, all you would have to do to use one is to run off the fuel line, into your new pd, then to the primary rail. Honestly, I think it would be better to keep the setup we have now...but thats just my opinion.

Mazda charged me $150 for S4 PD last year. I should have just used a banjo bolt.
