I use BP 93 octane

No complaints

I always try to use the same kind of gas. Supposedly if you keep changing (go from BP one day, to shell, to chevron) it can be bad for the engine

I use Citgo a lot...too bad it's tough to find over 91 octane around here, and it's also tough to find gas without corn in it.

MOST GASES WITH HIGH OCTAIN ARE GOOD JUST STAY AWAY FROM THOSE PUMPS WERE ALL THE CHOICES COME FROM ONE NOSEL AND YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE BUTTON TO SELECT THE GRADE . I JUST FIGURED THIS OUT TODAY WHEN I STARTED TO NOTICE THE POWER GAIN USING HESS PREMIUM .IT HAD A SEPARATE NOSEL FOR 93 ONLY .I USUALY USE SUNOCO BUT IT ALL CAME FROM THE SAME HOSE .THE LEFT OVER GAS FROM A PEVIOS LOWER OCTAIN FILL UP WAS LEFT IN THE TUBE AND CAUSED MY GXL TO RUN LIKE SH*T . FROM KNOW ON I WILL ONLY FILL UP WERE THE GAS IS TOTALY IN A SEPARATE TANK ,THIS WAY I KNOW I AM GETTING WHAT I PAID FOR.

Gasoline composition varies from state to state, and the US octane rating isn't the same as other countries, so you maybe should have posted this in the SE forum for Florida people. Anyway, I'm in Florida, and have found BP, Shell, Chevron, and Mobil to work very well. Texaco 87 octane didn't seem to run as smoothly in my RX-7's, and it knocks a bit in my F-150. The S4 is rated for 87 octane, and the S5 for 89 octane, but you should use higher octane if you have increased turbo boost or if you experience knocking.
