What kind of turbos do you guys run

I am shopping for a new turbo and am looking for something that spools quickly and can support ~15psi with out heating the air up to much. If you guys could post what after market turbo you have and A/R ratios and any other info on the turbo that would be great.

thanks

Man, your getting into more specifics then even I know. All I know is that the BNR stage 4 is good to around 375-400, which was my HP goal to begin with.

Hybrid uses two types of turbochargers to make one, in J-Rat's case it is the stock S4/5 exhuast housing machined to fit a different turbine, and then a 60-1 front compressor and housing/backing plate.

A full turbo would be like a t04E or t66, or TD07... etc. these are full blown turbos that require an aftermarket turbo manifold/wastegate, and new intercooler pipping.

thats around the ballpark im trying to go for too..but i dont want something that kicks in at 4.5k...i want it as low in the rpm range as possible....also ball bearings?...from what i know to get 375-400 i'd have to go with a t04..non hybrid...but i could be wrong..if a hybrid is capable of that HP..and still spool fast....that would be my perfered choice...any experts on this subject?...also....im looking at FMICs.....stock openings are 2.5(going into the IC)...i believe the t3/t4 hybrid is a 3 inch opening going into IC am i correct?...wouldnt want to have a IC set up of 2.5 piping and then find out the turbo outlet is a 3....

so what are the advantages of each type?....im aiming for 300-350rw..but with as low boost as possible and as little strain on the parts as possible....i enjoy driving this thing more than i like fixing it...

if you would like a little more punch like 300rwhp,
then you could go a stock exhuast side and stock turbine wheel, and run a good sized t04b compressor, then take care of the fuel and tunning issues and you should have very streetable reliable power.
This is all assuming it was done properly.
as for response a hybrid does boost rather low compared to the full turbos listed above.
