What Kind Of Oil?????????????

I just dropped a jdm s5 turbo II in my 90 gxl, i have a 3 in down pipe hks blow off intake and few lil mods, what is the best oil to run?

except for royal purple and the good stuff... and/or any synthetic is good if ur runnin premix

not running pre mix. i thought synthetic was no good for rotary seals?

Synthetic tends not to burn as well as conventional oil, because it is sprayed into the combustion chamber this is bad. However, premium synthetics (read mobil 1 or better) are perfectly fine for the rotary. Mazda Race teams use synthetics in their engines.

However, a simple search will get you all of the other threads explaining this.

iono about that royal purple stuff... but you can run it if you like. heard a lot of pros and cons about it. good luck though

Really, all myou need is good conventional oil. I have been running Castrol GTX 20W-50 with great success, as have countless other people.

same here, either GTX 20W-50 or valvoline 20W-50, whichever is cheaper at the time

Been running Castrol GTX 20W-50 without any issues here. I even premix 1/2oz to 1/4oz per gal just to keep on the safe side.
