What kind of Insurance do you guys pay?

My car insurance for my pro5 while under my parents insurance was like a little over 80 a month. Now that I'm on my own, I really wanted to get an rx7 but I was checking out those free quotes and it is gonna cost me some bank. Also, if I got into an accident when I was 17, i heard when I turn 18 it might not matter. Is that true? Or is lying the best policy. There arent many 7s in santa barbara anyway

your young? male? that's probably why you're paying up the ***. Insurance companies are ********. If you're 30 years old with a decent driving record, of course your not going to pay much. I'm in CA, 21, driving since 16, and I pay $2,400 a year for my 89 rx-7, my 92 yota pickup, and my wife's 96 camry. And that's just for liability. hahaha......

I pay $175 a month for very little coverage. I'm 18 and have a clean record, i think the deductable is $1000. It's so high because I live in "taxachusetts"

I pay $85/month on my '87 GXL for full coverage ($750 deductable) and ~$43/month on my '86 GXL for liability. I'm 22, spotless record, and male.

The killer part is that i got a '95 Toyota Camry when i was 18 that had cheaper insurance with a much lower deductable. Something like $48/month for full coverage with a $200 deductable.

$95 a month full coverage for my GXL,CJ5,TII

25 male clean driving record.

Big breaks when you turn 21 and 25. If i got married i would get another big break (but not enough to make it worth it).

with a clean record and a little shopping you can normally get a fairly decent rate..

But for an example of bad thou, with two tickets and one supension(for not paying tickets) the insurance on my 98 civic was just over $400.00 CAN a month! and age 26 att.

237 every 6. just for standard coverage (i think it's like 100,000 per person and a couple more hundred thousand per accident) but it's only lyability. still better than what i was paying for an 89 integra (roughly 400 every six with good student discount). (usaa and an 87 rx7-gxl)

if you want to get lower insurance go take a drivers improvement course and get some good points on your license in va i think the most you can get is 6 good points, but that lowers your insurance a few bucks. so if it's too high, try that.

Yea, my liscense is still in NC, I think I had one ticket drop the end of July, and one more will be dropping next week. Then I'm going to go take a driver improvement course up in VA and transfer my liscense so that NC doesn't **** a brick when they see my points.
