could you be any more vauge?

N/A, go with 87 octane

turbo, go with 93 octane if you can get it near you, some people only have 91 or 92 near them.

Sunoco Oh noess I opened another can of worms!!! Yeah, stock car 87, modded then 91 or better. No difference in performance just helps lesson the chance of detonation with higher octane.

actually ive heard on NA cars IF you can find 85, it makes a little more power because it burns quicker/more throughly. but odds are, you wont see it.

sunoco here has 93 and 94. The station down a was from my has 100. but ive heard that the 94 sunoco is questionable.

i use shell 93 normally unless i want to spend the money on the 100. or go to Chardon Oil and fill up with Cam2 or c16 at the pump

I hear some people saying they run 87 in their TII, and that it makes more power. Is it worth the risk of detonation?

no, I dont even worry about the extra .20 it costs per gallon to get premium. I get 10 gallons at most at a time, so that means if I got regular I would only be saving $2, no way is that worth the risk of grenading the engine.

Well aren't you special! j/p

We would be paying a fortune over here for 105 at the pump...anyways, I have heard running 87 in TII's too. That's what I currently run with no problems. Should I be putting 91 in it, or is it really up to the individual?

That's because your gas is rated differently from US gas. Your 91 is equivalent to our 87, etc.

Both the TII and non-turbo FC models are rated for a minimum of 87 (R+M)/2 with no more than 10% ethanol. If your engine is poorly tuned, very worn, or running a lot of boost, then use a higher octane rating as required to stop any knocking.

There is no risk of grenading the engine with 87 (R+M)/2 if the engine is in good shape, tuned properly, and not running a lot of boost.
