What kind of BOV IS this? Can I use it?
I got this BOV for free many yrs ago. Well, now I have a turbo motor that I am gonna be using soon. What kind of BOV is this? Is it any good? Can it be used with the stock series 4 turbo or is it too big? I plan to run about 12 psi. I think there may be 2 different springs available for it. The one in it now seems pretty stiff. My buddy is currently borrowing the bov using it on his turbo AE86 corolla (4age motor) with a stock nissan silvia turbo running 7 psi. It seems like the spring may be too stiff as you hear the turbo fluttering momentarilly, then the bov go off.
thanks guys

unsure, but it looks like an old school GReddy BOV, im not sure though mate, got me stumped...
However with the appropriate kit/welding, i dont see any reason why it cant go on your 7.

Yes, it's a GReddy Type-R BOV. If it has the stock (stiff) spring, it's not going to trigger with nothing less than 20psi. You'll need to stuff a "std" spring, which should work okay.
