What is this hole for? TII trans

What is this hole for? TII trans

On the back of the tranny, there is a big threaded hole facing the rear of the car. Is this for the speedo? I'm not talking about fill/drain plugs or anything.

more than likely speedo but a pic would help a lot.

if it has a little spinny thing in there, then it's for the speedo. If not then its for the reverse light, and neutral switch (I think).

Fifth and reverse switch location. It''s biased to the left side. Hole faces aft.
