TII engine coolant/oil/egr q's
Im swapping from NA to TII (both S4), and dont have any experience with the various passages on a TII. does someone have a diagram or explanation for any of these systems?
Coolant:
I know that NA's ran the coolant to the thermowax and stuff on the throttle body, does the TII do the same, and if so, where are the nipples on the block that this would be connected to?
Also, where on the block does the coolant leave to go thru the interior heater core, and where does it re-enter the system?
there is a sensor on the metal coolant neck (the one on top of the engine that goes to the top of the radiator) that isnt present on my NA. Is this stock, and if so, what does it do/what wire connects to it (or which pin on the ECU does it go to)
Oil:
when swapping the lines to the oil cooler, i saw that on the rear housing of my NA, the line was connected with a simple hollow bolt, whereas on the TII, there was a different hollow bolt with a brass elbow and what looked like a valve or small fitting on the top (pressure release valve? there was a spring inside it). there were no obvious connectors for a wire. This whole piece was broken. Is this stock on a TII, or a connection for an aftermarket oil pressure or temp sensor? Is it safe to just use the bolt from the NA engine in place of it?
EGR:
I read that the exhaust gas recirculation system on S4's was routed thru the block. Where are the openings for this passage?
Random:
On my 88 convertible, there is a hose that came off the NA LIM from behind the air pump, curved forward, hit a small black in-line tank, then continued to run forward along the pass side of the engine bay before disappearing under the pass headlight. What is this for? no fluid came out when I disconnected it, and the turbo is in place of where it seems to connect to on the turbo engine.
Thanks for your help, ive tried searching but didnt really come up with anything conclusive.

FROM the nipple on the rear side housing (same location as n/a) to the bottom of the throttle body.

Same as on a n/a. From under the oil pressure sensor area...........to the firewall fitting for the heater core.............out the heater core on the passenger side to the lower radiator.

Auxillary fan temp SWITCH. Only used if you have the auxillary fan locted in front of the radiator area.

Aftermarket nonsense.

Starts out at a half inch dia hole in one of the rotor housings. The hole is where the exaust manifold mates with the rotor housing.

To be more exact, that hose leaves the relief port/nipple on the ACV and goes fwd into the right front fender to a SILENCER/muffler.
Most all your questions can be seen in the FSM for the car. Maybe not the EGR question though.
