What the hell is wrong with my brakes?

For a "performance vehicle," I find it hard to believe that my brakes grind when I drive my car hard. What I mean is, when I drive fast, I have to brake hard, therefore after the second "hard" braking my start grinds to a halt. Does anybody have suggestions? Thanks

so, it makes squeals at the second time you brake after braking hard?
What brake pads you have?

Yeah that doesn't sound right...

Single piston or 4?

I had horrible problems with my single pistons heating up. Swapping over to the 4 piston brakes was the best thing I've done for my brakes so far. Next is to build the master cyl brace, rebuild everything + use some ate fluid.

Single piston or 4, I have no idea. Everything, brake system, is stock except for the brake pads. I wish I could pull them apart, no tools. Even if I did, don't know what to look for. Anybody, what do you think I should do? Thanks

Take your car to a trusted mechanic if you have no idea what to do.

A "trusted mechanic" seems hard to find these days. I am still looking for that special person but have not found him yet. Caliper? Do you think that's the problem? I don't understand, I asked the last mechanic, who replaced the front/back pads, about the grinding issue and all he can tell me is "maybe your rotors are not good and needs to be re-surfaced or replaced.

lol a mechanic will not be able to solve your problems, mechanics are dumb as hell. Take it to a performance shop or tell the mechanic what to do.

I don't understand your question clearly, this sentence makes no sense to me at all.

when I drive fast, I have to brake hard, therefore after the second "hard" braking my start grinds to a halt
Obviously your brakes shouldn't grind under any conditions. If the rotors are worn and have grooves or rust then it would cause the grind. Peek through the wheel and tell us what the rotor looks like, the pad contact surface should be nice and shiny with no major grooves or rust.

It should actually say "when I drive fast, I have to brake hard TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, therefore after the second TIME OF "hard" braking my CAR grinds to a halt!

your english skills aren't helping much. but sounds like your problem has nothing to do with performance vehicles. Assuming you are using the word "grinding" correctly, grinding of any kind is BAD and not normal on ANY kind of car. get it checked out.

why and where are you driving fast to the point you have to come to an abrupt stop?

Just driving fast because I like the feel of performance and the road, you know what I mean? I just drive that way, that's all I can say.

Sounds like you're glazing the rotors/pads when you brake hard the first time, so that when you try to stop the second time it squeels/grinds as you call it. Get a PERFORMANCE pad and slotted (NOT drilled) rotors if you intend to drive the brakes that hard.

Also, if you have an FC or a rotary in general, its time to buy tools and work on your mechanical skills.
