What the heck do I need??

Hey guys I know there are a lot of knowledgable builders on here that have done what I'm about to do.

I need help making a list of what I will need to do a jdm twin turbo engine swap. I have a 86 na 13b. The jdm as you know comes with everything. Can the tt ecu take the place of my ecu and work?? Plug and play or will something custom bee required? I'm sure a bigger fuel pump will be needed but not sure what else.
Thanks in advance,
Kev

TT like an Rew? Way easier to swap a series matchimg turbo motor..Its difficult to run the turbos sequentially and I dont think theres been one REW swap completed. I would say RE is easier single turbo though, Titanium TT is running an RE with REW twins sequential.

Ok I was afraid of that. I thought for sure there would have been a swap by now. Well I on the brighter side the single turbo engine is considerably cheaper. If you don't mind what will I need to complete that swap? I'm planing on getting one with my tax return so I want to start making a list I can get everything covered all at once.

TII engine,Trans,Driveshaft,Rear diff,half shafts,ECU,Boost Sensor,AFM,Exhaust down pipe...That is a start.
And NO the JDM does NOT come with everything.some come with hacked up harnesses.lack a Good ecu( or give you a useless Japan ecu!),cracked irons and Bad turbos!..Do your Shopping carefully and get a reputable Seller/dealer when buying an engine.

japan2la, member/vender here on the forum. sells great engines. only one I'd buy from and prices are gonna be about the same as competitors so go with a known good seller. you're gonna want the s4 turbo 2 motor btw, s5 are a pain with wiring and not worth it into an s4 car. (FIY, s4='86-'88, s5='88-'91)

Throwing 10 grand under the hood won't win racewars. Ask any racer, any real racer. It's not how much money you spend on overnight parts from JApan2. It's how much time you spend researching your build.

It's a 20+ year old car. There is about a 100% chance if you have a question, it's already been answered. There is a place here called the archives. There is archived information in the archives. It's be archived because it's worth archiving because there is a 100% chance someone will want to read it.

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-gen-archive-72/

This isn't information that's specific to this car forum. Most forums have an archive. Put on your reading glasses and start doing your homework. No one cares as much about your build as you. Nahmean?
