Single will save weight and with a nice exhaust you'll flow the best with a single. Apexi GT spec should have no problem flowing plenty for you.

There has been numerous threads about this in the past couple weeks. Basically big single makes alittle more power and noise, and weighs less.

IMP dual looks better and sounds awesome. makes great power but weights more. I just love my dual flames.

you leave my flame throwers alone.

It comes down to personal preference. they make pretty much the same powe with the single making a bit more. The deciding factor for those that do not care about the look of one can is the weight. I want to mufflers because the car came like that and the bumper has the little cut in it. I also like the balanced look of the two mufflers.

i think with a single turbo a single exhaust would make the most sense, just go 3" all the way, unless you need to conform to emmisiions. dual would be a little heavier but it just would be for looks, since it would be y-piped.

Had dual and went to single -- Made more overall power with single exit.

You don't want to know how I passed 300, 400, and nearly made 500.

Power Wise Dauls are not nearly as good as a large single (3.0 inch) for a turbo. PLus I thought turbos didn't throw flames like N/A's do. Go single.

I agree with blink. I believe hes running a thunderfab dp and an apexi gt spec. Im going to be running a racing beat 3.15in downpipe, no presilencer with custom 3.75in pipe to a straight thru muffler. Almost identical setups.

I think rx7.com or someone rated the apexi gt like an 8 out of 10 for noise. Mine will probably be an 11

oh also I like to keep the stock "look" so that people don't know my car is faster. the mismatched paint helps out on that too. The MT DUALS don't look like fart cannons and I would probably use something else for a turbo like N1's y-piped. Duals are the greatest IMO they sound, look, and flame good. I can't wait for james to come back so I can show him my flames. I figured out how to make them big. My friend showed me how big it was and it was like 2' long out of each muffler. I ony got to see the little 6 inch ones that I had seen before but when I hear my friend and his cousin say "wow!" I knew it was big.

uh no. I think it makes like 150 to the wheels maybe 160. given a 20% drop in hp after getting transfered through the tranny and diff.

WTF are you talking about man. YOu confussed me. stock s2 TII made like 180bhp so it would make like 150rwhp

BCD's car is heavily modded he said he has 500bhp and his rwhp is a bit less than 80% of the BHP giving him the 424rwhp
