Do you have problems with all these things? Or are you just a perfectionist wanting everything new?
Seriously, I will just relube the cables and wash out older parts to make it work better.

Turbo II (148k miles)- TPS (throttle position sensor), exhaust manifold (broke/warped from the previous owners engine install), brake booster (pedal syncing to the floor)
Convertible (101K miles)- trans syncros, TPS, exhaust system
TII could use new shocks or coilovers as it's a bit bumpy and I'm sure the rear bushings need replacing (aka rear steer).

Silkworm has an actual off road racecar, so he can do a few things that we can't. All I have needed to replace on my 91 are: Shifter bushings, clutch, and inside door handles. Everything else is tip top for a 101,231 mile RX-7...

Start with an 88 RX-7 with 215K miles.
Have a PD fire that wipes out all the plastic, wiring, injecotrs, and most of the aluminum engine partsl on the passenger side.
Add in carelessness with painting the car(necessitating the front harness replacement).
Then factor in the desire to NOT HAVE TO DO THIS **** AGAIN, and that's where all the replacing came from.

Super Newbie
Between them all, three clutches, an engine, two driveshafts, and about 4 sets of brake pads.
This doesn't count mods. I'd run out of room
Edit: Why the **** do I keep buying these things?!
rear diff mount, AC compressor, trans mount, engine mounts x3, shifter bushings, radiator x2, oil cooler lines, rear wheel bearings.

Seriously.
I have rainbows painted on the back of the bumper.
hehehe
No, no..
Just wanted a different color, blue looked better than red did.. Gotta give SOME clues that it's not a street car.
Besides, it's totally riced out anyway.. What's one more thing ALl that's missing is that goober sticker from the side of that F&F supra.
