The, "What have I got myself into" wire tucking thread...

I'm working on the chassis harness that comes out under the clutch master cylinder, runs on top the driver side frame rail to the fuse block on the driver shock tower, driver headlight area, relays and horn in the front center of the RX7, then finally over to the passenger headlight area.

I have all the wires exposed, getting rid of anything I no longer need and re-routing the harness through the wheel well and deeper into the front of the car where it won't be as noticable.

I need to find out the following from each picture:
-What is it? (circled in red/green)

Picture #1: Near master cylinder. Do I really need to keep the brake master cylinder low level sensor? This reservoir will be used for my clutch master cylinder as well, (cleaner engine compartment) so although it would be nice to have a low level sensor, I consistantly check my fluids. I can get rid of my started cut and main relay here if I take my ignition-on power(pink wires), from the ignition switch, thru a 15amp fuse, & my 12 volt(orange) constant power, from the ignition switch, thru a 5 amp fuse? What do I need to do in order to keep power to my heater?

Picture #2: Passenger headlight area. Is the white connector I've circled a retractable headlight relay? Should there also be one on the driver side or is it tucked into the compartment with the headlight?

Picture #3: Passenger headlight area. Can I connect the black wire I've circled to the black wires in picture 4?

Picture #4:

Picture #5: These are all located near the fuse block.

Picture #6: Front driver side normally located on their own little support rail. I believe the blue one is the dimmer relay and the other is the headlight relay. I never realized this, but there is a 3rd horn over towards the passenger front corner. Is this for the security system?

Finally, Picture #7: Driver headlight area.

Sorry for the long post.
Thank you so very much.
Have a nice, (safe) New Years!

Just start cutting stuff off. j/k. That 6-pin square connector looks like the check connector near the main fuse block.

I'm removing the actual wires that I don't need from the harness. If you know what a particular wire is, please let me know what picture you're referring to.
Any help would be appreciated.

FYI, stock computer, radiator, clutch master cylinder, fan, security system are all gone.

I am actually in the middle of doing this myself, the small 6 pin white connector in picture 1 should have a hook up to go to the oil pressure switch.

The circular white round one in picture one I belive goes to the main relay.

i'll give ya more as I progress

Might want to make sure before you go 'getting rid' of stuff. It looks like it though. I could go take pics of my car.. but mine's an S5.

When I find a plug I don't know about I get out the FSM wiring diagram and look through the pages that show the connectors. I find the ones that look similar (if I'm looking for a 6 prong, I find all the 6 prong). Then, I see if the wiring colors are the same. It takes some time, but it works.

If you are attempting to do something like this without a printout of the wiring diagrams from the FSM handy, then you need to think again. You can find a download of the FSM in the FAQ and it is an absolute necessity when making changes like this.
