My best race is probably a 97 Grand Prix GTP, he had a K&N filter kit and a 3.4" pulley so it was running 12# of boost. We started off from a dig, went to about 80 and I kept the half car I pulled on him out of the hole. He never came up to my window. Now granted, we both had full tanks of gas and he had a passenger and didn't have his sport shift on, so he would probably have edged me out, but it was a good race nonetheless. I had driven his car before and didn't think I had a snowball's chance in hell, considering stock they have 240hp and with the pulley probably 270 or more.

The best race ive ever had in my FC had to been the time i raced a brand new c5 on a major highway with barely any traffic. It was awsome, basically what happened was that i was cruising alone in the fast lane and a blueish c5 comes out from an on ramp. Next thing i know he pulls up right on my *** and starts edging me on, he then goes to pass me and i drop it in 4rth and floor it. He tucks in behind me and stays right on my *** all the way up to the top of my 4rth gear which was approx 140mph.
Best run i ever had, the guy passed me after and gave me a thumbs up

 

my toughest race is always my buddy's turbo miata. he has a T3 super 60. i am a little bit faster on race gas when we're both running 10-11 psi and i'll get about 1-1.5 cars on him, but he puts race gas in, turns the boost up to 18psi and rapes me.

 

Hmm..best race I've had was with a Lotus Esprit.
He just pulls along next to me and smiles. I drop it to 3rd and he's in the other lane trying to catch up. I just kept it floored and stayed about 1 car lengh all the way.
We must have raced a good 10 miles on the freeway.
We both gave a thumbs up after letting off.
This was around 3 am and no traffic.

 

Mine was against a Porsche 944 Turbo, I'd pull on him through the technical sections, but hit the straights and boom he was gone. Come back up to the technicals, and I'd zoom right back on him.

Oh, I guess you mean drag racing huh? Booooooring
