Question What happens on a T2 between 2500-3000rpm?

Eh guys, right now on my 87 TII, I get some sort of hesitation/bog at somewhere between 2500-3000rpm on light throttle. I was wondering what could be happening at those RPMs?...does the car switch something ON or anything happening with the TURBO at that point?

Check your throttle position sensor.Do a search on here and you will find lots of stuff.I personally have written quite a few things about it.That is more than likely your problem, but there is a chance it's something else.

Last night I realized that most of the posts regarding the TPS were probably lost when the system crashed. If you need more info on it let me know.

At 2600rpm the flapper on the twin scroll moves, can't remember which way though. You can test it at idle, with the car off, mark the actuator rod with white out or something (its the stainless steel one right at the bottom, might be hard to see if you have ABS), start the car and the mark should disappear (vacuum applied to actuator) rev past 2600 and it should come back.

could have sworn the come on whenever there was +ve manifold pressure or 3200rpm which ever came first, anyway, between 2500 and 3000 rpm the stock ecu is showing how useless it really is.
upgrade to a tuneable efi system, you'll never look back
