what happened to my TPS

So I fixed my idle today.

Adjusted the Throttle stop screw, BAC, variable resistor. My idle was around 900-1000

Checked my TPS, it started out around 3 and went up to 12 or so, which is way out of whack, but besides my idle, I haddn't noticed any other problems. So I set it as low as I could get it (around 2) but the IC back on and took it out for a spin. Idles fine, if a bit high, but I've now got a noticable lack of power, not too bad in 1st and 2nd, but terrible in the other gears, I'm getting almost no power from my boost (which spools up just fine)

So after searching the forum I'm guessing this lack of power is caused by my bad TPS, but my big question is why is it only causing problems now? It must've been bad for awhile, then I set my idle, and my power drops out?

Well unless I hear differently I'm gonna go get a new TPS, aumming that'll help

wait...you're saying the turbo spools up but isn't producing power?

Yup

Yeah I get boost, but I don't get the accleration I would expect, not by half. I just don't seem to have the pick up I used to, at cruising speed it seems fine, but under any thing close to WOT, I get rising RPMS, turbo spools up, and car barely accletates?

I'm going to try and adjust the TPS by the two light method, just because I'm assuming that's how it was adjusted before, and maybe there is a range where it would work again.

I'm still going to be getting a new TPS, but I figure this might be a temporary fix.

Is there anything else this could be, keeping in mind I only touched a few things (unless I knocked something off)
