What is a GTU

Sorry, it may sound like a dumb question, but we don't have GTU's in canada, not that i've seen at least. I always thought it was a slang term for an NA FC or something like that. But then i saw a pic of a GTU. What's the difference between that and a GX, GXL or a T2?

S4 "TII w/o the turbo" = S4 GTU
S5 "TII w/o the turbo" = GTUs
S5 GTU = S4 GTU w/ Single Piston Calipers, Open Diff, and a S5 engine/body.
