What gear do you redline in for what? Do you mean just to burn out some carbon? Generally 3rd or 4th, longer redline, more engine load. The engine is working harder to accelerate in a high gear rather than 1st.

 

Yeah to clean out the Carbon.. Anyone else do it in 5th? j/k

2nd on a regular basis, 1st and 2nd sometimes, and 3rd and 4rth rarely, because you're hitting 90+ at that time. Not that I haven't exceeded that several times but I'm trying to keep the points off my license.

all 5!!!!! loads of fun... i only siggest the last gear when running from the bacon wagons....

 

1,2,3 and a couple times in 4th.

 

6th and 9th

 

I've gotta fetish for 3rd gear. I seem to find myself redlining In that gear all the time.

1-4 daily. I assure you though that a t2 with full intake and exhuast can make it to redline in 5th. Not that I would know

I near redlined 5th once. But I'm ******' crazy. Maxed out the speedo, then backed off. I just had to know if the car could do 260kmph. It was damn close! The car felt extremely light at that speed..... It made me a bit nervous.
