What are the gains from removing your emmisons?
Is It to lighten up the car? I see why you would remove your cat(s), for added HP. But why would you remove your EGR Valve, ACV, BACV, Charcoal Canister etc?
Besides, by removing the emmisons "crap" wouldn't that translate to an FC burning way more fuel?

those things end up adding to clutter and maybe a little restriction in flow. I don't think the performance gains are very high at all for removing them, but I already lost my air pump and split air pipe and hope to lose the EGR and ACV since they add more vac lines and clutter to the engine compartment.
The primary restriction in power is the cats. But, with the cats gone, all the rest of the stuff has no purpose - air control valve, air pump, various solenoids, etc. There's no reason to leave stuff on the car that isn't doing anything that's in the way when you go to work on something.
Removing emissions has little to no impact on fuel economy - if anything, it makes it better.

I took it out for a cleaner engine bay and less crap to worry about messing up my idle and having to diagnose. Much more room on the exhaust side of the engine without all ACV and such there. You'll free up a little horsepower with the airpump and I guess shave off a couple pounds but not enough to really do much.
I don't think the rest of the emissions sutff makes you use less fuel but to finish burning up fuel in the exhaust that has already been injected. I know the EGR is to lower NO emissions by putting some exhaust gas back into your engine. I think the ACV controls the air going into your cat and the BAC is for controlling idle when your car goes under load such as using the AC. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think thats what all that was for. Now if you take out your charcoal canister you'll have to vent the gas fumes out into the atmosphere and it'll stink like hell so I would keep it.

This a good question, its the same thing ive been wondering since i removed my cats. But how do i actually figure out what all the components of the emmisions are? Like what exactly do i remove and how do remove them? Is there any post which gives detailed instructions on how to remove all emmisions components?

a FSM will show you the location of the equipment..and i believe there is a ACV and EGR blockoff plate.
Doesnt blocking off the EGR make for a 'cleaner cooler' charge...i wouldnt think ~1000º exhaust air is cooling down a 90º intake charge (temps are NOT ACCURATE...just random numbers off top of the head)

I have , both from Racing Beat, a ACV plate (came with Header) and a EGR Valve plate. So that covers that.
On a side note, I have already removed my Sub Zero Assist resevoir and plugged up the valve. I disabled my A/C by taking off the belt. So I guess I can take It out completly now. The metal lines, leading Into the firewall, can I just plug them up after I remove the A/C In whole? (I know this Is not emmisions releated).
BAC Valve. I'm not sure If I want to disable this due to the Power Steering still being kept.

Hey, what if you take the vented gas fumes (going into the charcoal cannister) and vented them into the tube/connection that the 5/6port get backpressure from? Would your cat blow up, or will the back-pressure overcome the positive pressure fromt he venting gas fumes.

All the charcoal canister does is filter the fumes from the gas in the tank. The fumes are stored in the canister, and are drawn in through the crankcase ventilation system to be re-burned. Part of emissions regulations is everything has to pass through the cat to get cleaned up - that includes evaporative emissions.
I wouldn't try venting the gas fumes into the exhaust - gasoline isn't something to be messed with. There's too many possible dire consequences. Leave it be.

Do i have to reopen that line to let the fumes out? i did notice that my gas tank builds up a little pressure, like when i open it to fill it up it makes a hissing sound kinda like opening a coke can. what do i need to do?
