What Fuel do you guys run in your stock S5 T2's?

My friend once told me that his turbo rex ran worst when he used 94 octane?

What is the best fuel recommended to run in a JDM 1991 turbo rx7?

I always use the highest octane I can find, and specifically only from chevrons. They have Techron . Occasionally theres a few rebels with 100 so ill put that every once in a while.

I always run 93 in my TII, but im super paranoid about pinging. Technically, the higher the octane you use, the crappier it will run, but lower octanes have higher chance for pre-ignition. I dont mind suffering a litte performance for engine reliability though

I was running 87, but I tried 93 today. I couldn't tell much of a difference. But I think I'm more comfortalble with the premium. Less chance of knocking. At least until I can get some kind of timing management!

i used to run 89 octane when my TII was stock and later on switch to 91+ which made it run a bit more wee rich. Read the manual it said run octane 87!

Manual says to run 87. If you want to be safe (detonation) and/or have mods run 91 or better is my understanding. I run Sunoco premium. Also, anything other than regular in a stockish NA is a waste of money.
