What else with streeport?

k guys heres the deal... i got a 1990 turbo rx7.. and i wanted to know what else comes with a streetported engine. i have already told them to put in 3mm hurley seals. are there any oil mods or race bearings im supposed to addon? or anything else important that would extend the life of my engine? or at least im hoping to get 100,000 km..out of a streetported engine?

thanks..

My buddy just built me a motor, it has an agressive street port/Ceramic apex seals/race bearings (cost $100 Ea) , and a bunch of other ****...As you can tell I am still learning, I know quite a bit about suspension but engines are my weak spot. from what I understand Race bearings are for higher RPM running and might be a good idea if you are wanting a street port or aggressive porting job. the race bearings have a larger groove in the bearing to hold a little more oil so it adds more protection for the bearings. Thats all i know about that!!!
Hope it helps some.

3mm seals are a dilemma-
First off, they don't quite seal as well as 2mm, yeilding slightly lower compresion (ouch-) and maybe higher emmisions. They also have higher rotating weight, with isn't good news to fanatics that are worried about 1 or 2 HP at 10K RPM!
They are stronger though, have more resistance to detonation, better for turbos, but aren't indestuctable!!! On a N/A engine, they aren't as likely to snap with carbon buildup at 100,000Kms (the reason for my last engine).
Also- get 93+ side seals.. much better....!
and the #1 requirement, at LEAST a 1 year WARRANTEE!!!!!!
