car died

What happened when the engine stopped running? Had you parked it and then it wouldn't start or were you driving when it quit? From the description it sounds like it is turning over. Do you smell gas when you've tried for a while, if so you probably have fuel. Have you checked to see you have good spark? I just took a engine out of a junkyard car and it was running and then just stopped and would not fire, but the next day it started right up. Not sure what it could have been beside flooding. I haven't had enough experience yet but these cars have a rep for flooding but I would think if you let it sit for a day it should fire if flooding was the issue. If the simple things check out you'll have to check for loose connections or maybe a clogged cat(s) if it starts but won't run. Good luck, I feel your pain. I just put an engine a week ago and have to change it again.
