Small oil leak front corner of engine around omp, is this normal ?

I have had my car for about 500+ breakin miles on the engine and it seems like it always has some oil around the front right corner side of the engine, where the omp is and all around that area. (i have already replaced the oring for the omp)

The oil level doesnt seem to go down but u can see where there is oil on the block and around wherethe oil pan gasket is.

Is this normal ? or may my engines front cover have a leak ? im not really worried about it but dont want to find out it could be anything serious

car is an 88 na

yeah, that thing always leaks... as long as it isn't pissing or dripping oil, there is always a little seepage there... you should be fine

The OMP has a lever. The lever has an o'ring on its shaft. THAT o'ring is probably leaking.

There is no replacement o'ring listed in the parts fische for that lever. You have to find one that fits. You would also have to remove the OMP to remove the lever and still be able to reinstall the lever later.
