1988 SE, this wire is pretty much fobar on my car (this picture is white 7's engine) what does it do, and where can I get a new one?

i need a better pic..is it coming off the power steering pump? if so, it may be a switch on the reservoir?

if you could describe it a little. it kinds looks like the CAS plug but i'm not sure.

How many wires in the plug and does it connect up to your cas? If it is the one for the cas.....you've got problems.

 

just one, but its kinda burt from oil getting all over it. I'll get the pic later today, but has anyone had a RE where the apex seals didn't break but just wore down to the point where they didn't hold compression anymore? I've got 187k on the orignal engine and I think that might be part of the problem.

 

no no no, look in the end of the connector and tell us how many prongs/holes there are. and hurry up and get a better pic on here.

Looks like the wire for the oil level sensor.
