I'm thinking about purchasing this harness because I originally intended to get one that isn't hacked up in the slightest bit.

This particular one is from an 87 T2 and appears to be in good shape except for that pink wire dangling in the middle. It appears that somebody cut a black/white wire on I believe it's the fuel injector resistor pack. I can't even find the resistor pack in any of the FSM's floating around...they appear to be for cars without resistor packs. So I don't know what the wire does.

Should I be concerned about this? Was somebody trying to reground the resistor pack? The guy said he pulled it off a parts car and doesn't know what's up with it.

 

should I just put that wire back to stock (reconnect it and solder) and just call it a day?
