The displacement of the oil can be done with the engine in the car and the cost?......three or four bucks and it's dead accurate.

i suppose, but i still don't understand how that theory works. TDC is with the rotor against the spark plug face not rotor tip to bottom or top of the engine as that previous diagram indicated(well bottom dead center anyways).
