what does this mean?
IMO, I love my rear seats. I almost never let two people sit there, but it's been useful for the occasional third passenger.
BTW, the reason they are called 2+2 and not four seater is because the car was intended to only seat two (2) but now the designers added two small seats (+2). In the Mazda Kaburana...uh...mufugly concept, it was designed to seat three full size passengers and the designers added a small extra seat behind the driver (3+1)
P.S. It also makes a great conversational peice at meets. I have still never seen anyone who has topped me in fitting 5 people in an rx7

I've fit six. With out a 2+2. Me, one on the passenger seat, one on the floor in front of the passenger seat and 3 laying across the back hatch area. I could've probably fit 2 more if I scooted up the seats and the people in the back sat up.
