Unhappy what does this mean?

i just finished replacing the dynamic chamber and can't get the car to start. i got it once for about 5 seconds and the idle was horrible and hovered around 500rpm. the horrible idle doesn't bother me so much as i can't get the car to start. what is weird is when the car is OFF, the Shift Up light and the Charge battery light are dimly lit. Anybody know what this means? the stereo and headlights work fine...i can't imagine the battery being bad. when the car is ON the voltmeter reads right at 12.

Wait does the car die or does it stay alive? could be a vac leak, i had a couple of caps missing from my intake manifold and it idled like crap and hovered like crazy then i capped them and perfecto.

yes there are many vac leaks. i am in the middle of repairing all of the emissions solenoids vacuum connections as the plastic was rotted and broke while i was taking off the dynamic chamber. but the Shift Up light and Charge battery light being on when the car is OFF is very curious...any ideas on that?

i fixed all of the solenoid vac lines. there is still one that is broken, but it s a metal line that comes from the driver's side, and is welded to a fuel line. car still will not start. however, i think it is just flooded from all of the cranking tonight. what do you guys think?
