What does knock mean?

What is "knock" when taking an safc into consideration?

knock is another term for pre-detonation. It is when the fuel ignites before it is intended to.

The SAFC allows you to change the air to fuel ratio so that you do not experience pre-detonation.

So what is the knock reading? like if it says knock 17 or knock 3 or knock 0?

How does the AFC read knock?
Is it connected to the stock knock sensor?

well it's connected to the stock computer, which would maybe read the stock sensor......But that thing is pretty much worthless. I don't know where you would set it at, but i really wouldn't trust it.
