Makes adjustments to the idle according to engine load.

Do you have A/C? The bac will raise the idle when you turn on the A/C at idle.

Well you dont need it. But a stock car would, and a lot of fan boys like to rip **** off with out knowing what it is or does.

Here is the deal. The rotary engine has so little torque at idle that half of the stuff on top of the motor is for idle speed control. The BAC is the main controller of idle speed but it needs help with suddenly switching loads like headlights or AC or heater fan on high. These other accessories have signals to the ECU to open various vacuum bleed solenoids to help out. That is why the idle tune up is so complex.

ok i only have PS and the stocker fan. To get rid of the BAC I would have to lose both right?

Maybe the fan. PS turns pretty freely and shouldnt affect much at a 850 idle.

if you have PS and you turn the wheels fully, you may stall without the BAC (there's a PS switch to tells ECU the wheels are being turned, and increase duty cycle of BAC). It may not.

I guess it all depends how healthy your engine is.

Low compression equals even less torque at idle.
