I can't remember the name of this part for the life of me and i need another one the nipple broke off this one , heres pics.

Did it come from the right side of the engine (the side w/ spark plugs)? If it is, it's a purge control valve.

I think this works the same way (or is the same) as the crankcase valve on a regular piston engine. If you're going to replace it you should get a new one, you'll probably notice a slight increase in gas milage too. Look in an auto parts store, but then again, I tried that too and in the catalog it said they don't have one for the RX7. Weird, but I know it's the PCV. If you have a haynes manual, look in chapter 6: emissions control systems, they have it on just about any diagram.

i broke mine too and i got one from the mazda dealership like 20 bucks and yes it is called a purge control valve

oh its only 20 bucks?? thats not bad i thought i was looking at in insane amount like hundreds is what i figured it would be.
