Yeah, actully I see that more often on the S5 gauges. Much more than the S4 ones. I don't know what they changed as far as materials on the S5 ones, but all the S5 ones look like your pictures.

Yeah Marks got a good observation there. The S5 stuff looks pink to me instead of orange/red. Damn cheapo S5 bullshit!

You know, I've rehashed my entire n/a. My buddy has a S4 n/a, and everytime I get to something at all anoying, irrititating, or insanely dificult, he comes over and says... "It ain't like that on an s4.. its easier."

An example we found is that his s4 steering knuckles of a set spine. S5, it aint so. Try to realign that damn knuckle by eyeing it sucks on an s5. What are they, 32 spine knuckles? S5 engineers failed in product repairabiltiy.

I hear that! There should be a "The Nth reason why S5's suck" section.

Mine look like that too. I wonder if there's a way to make them a vibrant red-orange again.

LOL yeah. But I mean a way to keep it translucent. If you just use any regular old paint I imagine it will become opaque and you wont be able to see the gauges at night.
