what do you think about this paint scheme??

this is how it goes.... i have decided to shave the side mouldings by welding a strip over the gap and grinding it smooth.

then i want to paint it as white as i can get it wiht several layers of clearcoat. all of the metal trim accents are getting powdercoated white i.e. window trim, etc.

the engine bay will be black and the engine will be white-silver-white-silver-white. dont know what color for the intake manifold but I will either chrome or powder coat silver the AC and alternator. all of the heads of all of the bolts in the engine are getting a white powdercoat.

interior will be black, with CF and aluminum accents. GTUs wheels will be smoke grey with powdercoated white brakes and black MAZDA lettering.

that is all i can think of right now... what do you guys think??

any suggestions or warnings??

Justin

How much did they charge you to shave the side moldings and mold pieces over it? $100 for all my moldings. I love knowing the right people.

if you are gonna shave the side mouldings dont forget to shave them off the bumpers as well. FCs look fugly with no mouldings on the side but still keeping them on the front and rear bumper.

I have had a white car before and they are very easy to keep clean because they look clean with dirt on them.
