what do you think

alright guys heres the deal im a minitrucker who recently bought a 88 with a t3/t4 and tell you the truth this is the first mazda i have ever even looked under the hood i know alot about the 4g63 dsm motors but not a thing about the mazda
i have an air fuel ratio gauge and its not leaving the rich position my fiance was riding behind me on the interstate and there was pure gas coming out of the exhust onto her windsheild and when i let off the gas it shoots fire out of the tail pipes it has a full magnaflow system on it
i also have a boost gauge on it and im running 10 lbs but in 3rd and 4rth when i floor it , it spikes to about 18 lbs.
whats your guess i know it could be one of several things i think its boost leaks but havnt had the time to hook up an adapter and test it you guys know more about it then me let me know thanks...

Does it run fine? i.e. sputtering, stalling, hesitations....

Download the FSM (linked to in my sig) and a Hayne's manual. Do the normal tune up stuff (new plugs, change fluids, etc.), and see if that helps.

Car sounds like it's been seriously hacked...

More then likely someone has swapped in a set of injectors to make the car now blow up and has no form of fuel control. You should compare the injectors with the factory injectors listed in the FAQ to figure this out.

no fuel mods or ignition mods from what my eyes can see and yes i belive this car is a hack job there are wires spliced and taped and a rat nest of wires under the dash all i want out of it is a little better fuel milage ,this 5 miles to the gallon isnt cutting it ill give the tuneup a shot but doubt that is going to make it run any leaner
