ok, check out what this crackhead supposed rx7 enthusiast told me at my school (by the way i got to school at sequoia institute whitch teaches auto mechanics). anyway i pull my car in to adjust the tps when he comes over and is talking with his friends cause he's got an 89 GTUs he's like ya it's a four port! and i'm like no it's a 6 port i did not know he knew anythinng about rx7's at this time. any way he's all no dude i have a 6 port it's an 89 only the 89-92 cars had a 6 port, and i'm like realy? well you wanna bet 10 dollars right now? and he's like ya and we shook on it, so i show him where the actuators are and how they open and he's still like no it doesn't have any way to open those and i'm like it opens by back preasure at 4000 rpms and he's like no it won't open because it has no VDI? by this time i'm like screw this i have the shop manual i'll show you, so i bust it out and lets just say i droped it cause obviously as stupid as he was he wasn't going to belive me or the shop manual so i told him to come here and he said he's been here just not a member so everyone please tell this jackov the truth so if he sees this i can get paid!

Are we agreeing to the fact that the 84-92 13b (non-turbo) have 6 port induction from the factory? Then yes
Are we agreeing that the NA series 5 (89-92) cars had VDI? Then also yes.

The Series 4 engine (1986-88) IS a 6 port. The Series 5 (1989-92) is also a 6 port. He is stupid, you are brilliant! The difference is how those auxillary ports open. The S4 engine uses backpressure from the exhaust to open them, and the S5 engine uses the airpump to open them.

there were 13b in the rx5 cosom in the 70 and they were 6 port too, the sec gen used two types of motors the N/A uses a 6 prot and the TII use a 4 prot motor.
I the 79 to 83 it was a 4 port 12 and when they went to the 13B in 84 it was also a 4 port motor. When the sec gen fisrt can out they went to the 6 port N/A motors and then the 4 port can out in 87 for the TII cars.
