I love that the car is not boring, always turns heads. Its really uncommon to see an aggressively modded rx7 of this vintage on the street =)
Love how you dont see many kids in them like beat up hondas.
sadly my list of things i dislike about the fc's design and support for it is probably just as big as my list of things I love about it.

As far as my car in particular, I like the fact that its an uncommon setup that challenges popular belief regarding boosted 6 port engines.
I love FC's in general because its a unique platform that has its own advantages, and that most of these advantages are not well known throughout the car enthusiast community.
I also love that its affordable enough for me to build it whichever way I want.

i love that it's a custom, rare car. Mine is a 91 n/a with a jdm turbo 2 swap. i love that i'm only the second owner and the original owner was an older lady that didnt molest it or mess with it at all. as other have said, i love that other then my friends 3rd gen i might see one other rx7 every month or so... even at a weekly car meet of 400+ cars my friend with his 3rd gen and my FC are the only 2 rx7's. i love that nobody knows what it is =)

Too old for this
The first thing I fell in love with was that it is simply fun to drive. The next thing was the sound. Different from everything else. The more I work on it though, the more I love it because it goes from being an RX-7 to my RX-7.

I love how little torque wankels make and how fragile they are when detonation occurs. I also love chrome flaking, apex seal lifting by the spark plugs, apex seal chatter, burning 1qt of oil every 1000 miles, fragile 20+ yr old plastic from the 80's, 3 catalytic converters, 18mpg MAX, failing AUX intake, broken differential mounts, 18 inch rims, APEX-i N1 exhaust, and square taillights.

i like the fact that, even though they're up to 25 y.o. now, they still look kinda modern. also love all the rattles, clunks and other noises. I think they just ooze character.

I love that my car is ragged just enough that people in new expensive sports car get their hearts broken, by a guy in a ragged out............... wtf is that anyways?
I love that every mustang I kill is angry.
I love the fact that back around 95 I killed a brand new corvette with temporary tags in the 87 TII. The guy was embarrassed and so was the cutie in the passenger seat. I wish I would have gotten a picture of his face at about 3rd gear when I pulled several lengths on him, priceless........... I would almost bet he attempted to return it. haha
I love having the option of pulling over for blue lights, or pulling away until they are sparkles in the rearview. (not that I would ever run)

The drivers are friendly in my community but it's just an every day fun car to drive. I've found that when I get into a non rotary these days, it just feels like there's something wrong with the engine.

I also love how every time I turn the key and it starts I feel like I should celebrate.
