well, ive had a pioneer in all of my rx7's basically, take old radio out, unbolt the pieces of metal that hold the stereo to the car, and bolt them to your CD player, and do all the wiring and your done.

Its not hard, if you search for a minute or two, you will easily find the info you need. prolly even pictures! everybody loves pictures!

yes to get the dash kit you will have to modify it. but PM aaron cake i remember he told me there is a company that makes a dashkit for the FC.

PS..as for decks/recievers go im sure you know this just want to clear it up, most decks are 1 din. which all cars have atleast 1 din. so the deck isnt the modified part.

they are all farely simple. even the kits that have to be 'modified'. most any of them will simply ask to to cut 'tab b' and 'tab c' leaving only 'tab a' which pretty much just means cut off the pieces you dont need for it to fit in your car. just be careful when removing the tabs if you break the frame of the dash kit its gonna be floppy forever.

i don't know what crutchfield means by modify. the 7 takes a standard kit. you can pick it up at circuit city for 17.99. note, however, that some of the 7s are factory amplified, and you would be best suited to bypass the amp by running new wires from the headunit to the out side of the amp wires or just straight to the speakers themselves.
