more pics.
one has the new location for the head unit. I gutted everything from behind the dash so no more heat. replace ash tray with gauges (water temp and A/F)
Second pic has the white face gauges on the cluster surrounded by aluminum bezel.
Third one is better look at the front bumper, still needs to be molded with the wide body fenders
last pic is better look at the engine. I still am running spark from the CAS and a FC1000 It drives strong but I just recently found out that because of the lack of sensors the ECU isnt advancing the timing under load, guess that explains my horrible gas milage. Does anyone know if it makes a big difference swapping in a dizzy if not Im leaving it the way it is.

Nice job, but brace yourself, the carb haters will probably give you the EFI lecture soon enough - haha

To each his own and there's nothing wrong with a functioning 7 in my books

I love the carb setups. the sound, simplicity, and look. I wouldnt go FI unless I had some high hp ported engine. My boys corrola has 13b perphiral port motor with FI that looks like a downdraft weber. His fuel has settings programmed for different tracks. I wouldnt put that kind of money into something that wont crack 200hp. Ive never had a problem with my carb, throttle responce is instant and revs very nice through the whole rpm band and keeps pulling. Please knowone turn this into a carb vs FI thread. Any help on my spark advance would be appreciated though

Run a dizzy from a 1st gen?? Seeing as thats what they used on all the carb''d 7's back in the day, I'd presume that should be used with a carb'd setup now...

I searched on this (dizzy swap) and it seems like an easy mod but if it doesnt make any difference then the way its setup now Im probably just going to leave it. I know that my ECU isnt advancing timing under load but its working and they do say if it aint broke dont fix it.
