What do you guys think I can run with this....
I am planning on gettin intake, headers, mufflers & then a 50 shot of NOS wet. What all do you think I can run with then? I mean, I could beat Mustang GT's right? What about stock twin turbos? Like 300Z or 3000GT? Both my friends have those. Want to make sure thats all. Thanks.
I'd say it would take mare than a 50 shot to beat a 3rd gen 7 if thats what you mean by twin turbo.I'd guess you'll need some fuel mods( bigger injectors, fuelpump, etc.) to keep from blowing things up with anything more than a 50 shot.

So you think the twin turbos would still be one more step up from me with those mods? I am also going to have everything else, pulleys and all the small things. I am just hoping to stay within 1 car of a stock twin turbo & i will be happy.
stay within 1 car length of a 250hp+ twin turbo car
there is no way with your n/a u will even be close to the 3rd gen rxy or 300zx
focus on civics and acura's kid and 5L's with a n/a
5L's r fun to race they arent much faster then us

300zx non turbos are definitley within your reach. They only have 222 horsepower, plus they weigh about 3400 pounds. (I'm using latest generation specs)
If you get a 50 shot of nitrous, and the other basic mods, you'll be pushing 200hp. That would be plenty to take a n/a 300zx.
The turbo 300's are a whole different beast, yeah they weigh about 100 pounds more, but they pack 300hp. You'd need around 250hp to hang with one of those probably.
Z28's about the same, 285 HP, ~3500 pounds.
The new body style Mustang GT's should be easy, they only have 215hp.
Ok, now for 5.0's, stock they got 225hp, weigh a few hundred pounds more than our cars. Thing is, most of them aren't putting out that much hp cause they are beat, OR they are putting out a lot more. I always race them if I get the chance, sometimes I win, sometimes I don't. Rarely do I get them off the line. Ive never lost on the freeway, but I've been matched just about.
With a 50hp shot, most domestics are in your range, save for the big guys, like the Camaro SS's, Cobras, corvettes etc.
With a 100hp shot (which I wouldn't do unless you had fuel system upgrades) you'll be going plenty fast to take on most that you encounter.
