just pick up a set of H4 lenses and bulbs, shouldn't cost you more then $60, and they are sweet. HID is $600+

HID lights require a transformer or something like that. You can't just add a bulb.

most parts stores should have them. they are made by hella and bosch. you remove your sealed unit, and replace it with the new lens which has a removable bulb in the back. the stock bulbs they come with are ok. but you can also get some sweet H4 bulbs that will fit into the lenses. like 85 watt low 100 watt high. but that puts a high load on the alternater.

you can find them off ebay for 30-40 bucks but they are no name brand. go buy a hella kit.

I used to have the Polarg(sp?) super white 100W/115W H4's with some open housings and they were sweet. I ran another power wire to the alternator and another ground wire as to help with the electrical system.

I most recently installed an HID kit into those same open housings. The HID's are the brightest lights I have ever seen! I can see things that you would not see with your regular headlights. I got mine from www.speedlights.com I paid $450 for mine including shipping and tax. If you do alot of night riving, I highly recommend these. I did a write-up on the site of the install if you want to see them.
